Our masjid

About Masjid Omar

A neighborhood institution shaped by worship, scholarship, service, and the families who call it home.

Who we are

A place to pray.
A place to grow.
A place to belong.

Masjid Omar Bin Abdul Aziz is a neighborhood masjid serving Lilburn and families across greater Atlanta. We bring worship, learning, service, and companionship together under one roof.

Our goal is simple: make the masjid a steady presence in everyday Muslim life—from a child’s first Qur’an lesson to the prayers, questions, milestones, and acts of service that shape a lifetime.

What guides us

Our commitments

01

Worship with presence

We protect the masjid as a calm, welcoming place where every prayer can renew the heart.

02

Knowledge with character

Learning should deepen faith, refine conduct, and prepare students to serve with wisdom.

03

Service with dignity

People seeking help deserve discretion, respect, and practical support without judgment.

04

Community across generations

Children, adults, elders, new Muslims, and visiting neighbors should all find a meaningful place here.

Leadership & teaching

Guided by scholarship.
Sustained by service.

Our imams, teachers, staff, board members, and volunteers work together to serve the religious, educational, and practical needs of the community.
